Now we have the Drone Helicopter

Over the last few years we have all seen the growth in aircraft drones due to their use in recent conflicts. These drones have all been fixed wing aircraft flown primary by the Air Forces of various countries.
Yet back as far as 2001 the US army was interested in the use of drone helicopters for  reconnaissance and the automated delivery of supplies. The US Navy has 19 MQ-8c Fire Scout Helicopter drones on order from Northrop Grumman. this week the Fire Scout completed precision sloped landing trails and will soon be under going sea trials.
